(probably also helps that I speak Spanish) Anyhow, your channel is a lot like mine, I have a ton of Baja camping videos. And we have been dreaming of getting a van and doing it semi full time. Also YT question, we have seen lots of info that says you can’t create videos in USAs National Parks. Would you know more info on this? Appreciate your advice

I completed this hike this year in June, not long ago. Hot day, 93 degrees, I don't recommend it. I watched your video before I did it and again, after. The second time actually brought tears to my eyes remembering how difficult it was but what a feeling of accomplishment. If I ever do it again, it will definitely be in the winter. Thank you!

Fun fact: peak7071 in dinosaur national monument is a contender for Colorado's largest vertical wall along with the Diamond of Longs pk and painted wall of the black canyon. It has only been climbed once due to its remotness and loose nature and goes at a mid 5.10 grade.

Awesome video: great videography of nature and choice of music. Much of the Saguaro, Organ Pipe Cactus, Cholla and others can be found at Organ Pipe Cactus Monument. That's a great place as well as Puerto Penasco back in 2005. I'm very intrigued to see how you faired in that part of Mexico as I haven't heard good things since.

I know this is kind of a dumb question but what kind of hiking boots do you recommend for someone with a Bigfoot like me? I have a size 13 foot and I don’t really really don’t know what brand to choose and what is best to look for when shopping for a good hiking boot.

I watched your grand canyon video and it was fantastic, this was recommended after so I checked it out and quickly decided to sub and when I went to sub I verbally exclaimed "no way" in reference to you only having 722 subs. the camera work was so amazing I truly expected you to have tens of thousands of subs. keep it up man, truly amazing work.

How much weight did you sacrifice for camera gear and batteries? I’m usually at 5lbs for a GoPro, Dji Osomo, and an iPhone + battery bank. Nice film!!

You are a great film maker and editor. I have never seen anyone wear a mardi gras shirt on the trail, if I saw you I would have lost my mind. When you go back to GSMNP make the insane journey to Big Pool, its not on the map and I have yet to see anyone film in HD/4K

Just got back from Maggie Valley and a dozen hikes - including here. Did you look at Waterrock Knob (and the plane crash), Purchase Knob, Cataloochee, etc? We go up to the property 2-3 times a year and these views never get old! And we have never seen the stars like you did, and our property is mountain top, literally above the clouds. 😮
